Native American Ministries Sunday is one of The UMC's Special Sundays. It is celebrated on the third Sunday of Easter and nurtures mission with Native Americans and provides scholarships for United Methodist Native American seminarians.

In 2021, the Annual Conference adopted the Conference Committee on Native American Ministries’ (CONAM) resolution to commemorate May 5th, the National Day of Awareness for Missing and Murdered Native Women, by wearing red. May 1, 2022, is Native American Ministries Sunday. CONAM has put together a short video about this and encourages all pastors to use it in their worship services.
The 2021 Annual Conference adopted a resolution from CONAM on celebrating Indigenous Peoples Day and honoring missing and murdered Indigenous women.
