The New England Conference remembered clergy and spouses who passed during the last year during the annual Memorial Service. Pittsburgh Area Resident Bishop Cynthia Moore-Koikoi was guest preacher.
The Preachers' Aid Society hosts a luncheon to celebrate clergy who are retiring, marking milestones, or being ordained. The Taylor Fellowships are also awarded at this time.
On Nov. 6, 2016, guests gathered at Rolling Ridge Retreat and Conference Center to dedicate the former Moses Hall as the Larry J. Peacock Carriage House. Guests were given tours of the newly renovated building.
The Yanghwajin Foreign Missionary Cemetery is the resting place off 145 foreign missionaries, and includes a monument to Henry Appenzeller. Appenzeller considered the founder of Methodism in Korea.
